The Story
Claudia Pérez and Pedro Ochando founded their studio in Valencia in 2014 with a simple but radical idea: design shouldn't be an imposition. Moving fluidly between graphic design, product design, and art direction, they treat objects as tools to quietly improve the environment. For Marset, they created 'The W'—a flexible, textile-wrapped pendant that feels less like a machine and more like a collaborative partner in the room. They represent the new wave of Spanish design: thoughtful, versatile, and full of personality without being loud.

Unfolding light. The W is a flexible, large-format lamp inspired by an old winding machine. Its fourteen rods can be expanded to 2 meters for large spaces or folded to 1.2 meters for intimacy. With terracotta, ivory, or gold rings, it provides exceptional ambient lighting and a strong graphic presence that adapts to the room.
