Le Cadre Parfait
A brilliant conceptual shift designed in 1950 for Swiss art collector Heidi Weber. By placing glass within a solid oak frame, Le Corbusier transformed traditional proportions. Hung on a wall, the illuminated glass appears to float, creating a glowing cubic body that blurs the line between a lamp and a framed masterpiece.
