Somma
Project Overview
Helmed by Puglian Chef Mirko Febbrile, Somma is a dining experience defined by grandeur and ceremony. Located in a lofty former school library at New Bahru, the journey begins with an open kitchen greeting and evolves through courses marked by ingenuity—including a cheese course with curated pairings. Illum-Tec enhanced this theatrical atmosphere using a precision-engineered lighting suite featuring DGA Micro, Circo 3, Ridi IP67, and Ariel P90 fixtures. The entire environment is orchestrated via a Casambi wireless ecosystem (using A2D, TED, and TCI interfaces), allowing for seamless transitions from day to night service.
Illum-Tec Pte Ltd was privileged to collaborate on the lighting design and supply for Somma. By integrating premium architectural fixtures with the Casambi wireless control ecosystem, we achieved a flexible, dynamic lighting environment that adapts perfectly to the venue's operational needs.
