The Zonal Cavity Method
What is the Lumen Method formula? The Lumen Method (or Zonal Cavity formulation) determines the required luminaire count for a space using the equation: N = (E × A) / (F × UF × MF), where E is Target Lux, A is Area, F is Fixture Lumens, UF is Utilisation Factor, and MF is Maintenance Factor.
