Milan Design Week is the annual pinnacle of global design—a time when the city transforms into a living, breathing canvas. For Fuorisalone 2026, DGA presented a visionary "Journey Through Light," transcending a single exhibition stage to span three of Milan's most significant architectural locations.
Rather than separated showcases, DGA conceived a continuous experiential path weaving through architecture, nature, and interior design. Today, we explore the first stop of this illuminating journey: A Garden Made of Light at the DGA Showroom.
Stop 1: The Urban Garden at Corso Monforte 23
Located in the heart of Milan's prestigious lighting district, the DGA showroom at Corso Monforte 23 was completely transformed. Visitors stepping inside were transported into a lush, urban garden where nature and contemporary design met in perfect harmony.
The installation featured the Luna and Eclissi collections, designed by Draw Studio, which built delicate, enveloping paths of light throughout the space. To complete the atmosphere, DGA collaborated with Nodo Italia to integrate outdoor furniture and textiles—stunning creations born from a partnership with renowned fashion designer Antonio Marras. The resulting environment radiated the warmth of true Italian craftsmanship and refined design.

Blurring the Lines Between Tool and Object
This installation brilliantly highlighted a design direction DGA has been exploring with increasing conviction: the luminaire as both a precision architectural tool and a beautiful decorative object.
DGA’s fixtures are no longer just meant to illuminate a space; they are designed to inhabit it. The precise micrometric engineering synonymous with DGA's Florentine manufacturing is now enveloped in soft, sophisticated aesthetics that add value to an interior even when switched off.
A Visual Tour of the Installation
For those who missed the lively aperitivo evenings at the showroom, you can experience the installation through our visual gallery below. Notice how the interplay of rich foliage, textured fabrics, and precise Italian lighting engineering creates an atmosphere that feels both primitive and undeniably modern.

Stay tuned for our upcoming posts where we will continue this journey and explore Stop 2 (Sensory Landscape at Palazzo Bovara) and Stop 3 (FÒCO at Archiproducts Milano).
